We are currently seeking a Business Analyst in Matawan, NJ for a full-time, direct hire opportunity. The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding business needs and identifying how best to meet those needs. This includes working with SAP business and technology areas to gather requirements for development and management.
The Business Analyst analyzes, validates and documents SAP business and system requirements. In this role, you will be assisting in designing, modifying and creating business processes that will be used to implement business transformation solutions. You will play an important role interfacing with internal business stakeholders and external business/technology partners, and you will be responsible for managing and planning projects designed for specified business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Research business problems and develop solutions that address needs.
- Perform root-cause analysis and remediate risk of re-occurrence of business problems.
- Drives and ensures execution of requirements management plan and analysis practices.
- Define, manage, and control scope of the solution.
- Analyze, document, and manage project requirements.
- Execution of a project or enhancement according to requirements
- Ensure meeting business users’ expectations and build a rapport with customers.
- Work closely with business, development and testing to ensure business needs are identified and met.
- Conduct meetings to discuss status and health of projects with key stakeholders
- Assist in managing all facets of application and technical projects to ensure deliverables are met within schedule and quality goals.
- Experienced, gathering, and documenting BRD, Test and Use Cases, functional and technical requirements along with creating process flows.
- Meet with customers/ Business to compile and clarify specific requirements of each project.
- Responsible for the accuracy of deliverables
- Conduct and manage risk assessments.
- Maintains and improves organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.

- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Accomplishes IT project staff results by communicating project role expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining project team members; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 8+ years of experience in lieu of Degree.
- Minimum 2 years in Project Management or Business IT
- 2+ years’ experience as Business and/or Systems Analyst
- Minimum 1+ years of SAP experience with any of the following (FI/CO, MM, CAR, Retail, PI/PO, Hybris)
- Basic understanding of Database structures, Infrastructure, Networking and PCI compliance
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and best practice concepts and procedure
- Ability to manage and coordinate Business/Technical Projects, Analyze Systems and Requirements.
- Ability to manage and establish Project Budgets, Project Plans and Resource Allocation
- Excellent Project team management, time management, decision making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills.
